Birdies and Bogeys Benefit
Apr 11, 2013 7:30pm
Julian Smith Casino
Augusta, GA—The second annual Birdies and Bogeys Benefit will be held at Julian Smith Casino, Thursday, April 11th at 7:30 pm. Named one of the newest Masters traditions, the event was established by a group of Young Augustans looking to celebrate the pinnacle occasion of the golf season while giving the proceeds to area causes. The success of 2012 not only allowed $11,295 to be donated amongst The William Weston IV Fund, Press On and The Elaine Clark Center but also enabled the group to add Kids Restart as the newest beneficiary for the second annual event.
Also new in 2013 is a partnership with premium spirit manufacturer Tito’s Vodka, whose products will be served throughout the evening. Guests are invited to attend and enjoy music by up and coming band Moon Taxi of Nashville, Tn., taste traditional southern fare provided by Wife Saver and cocktails crafted by local favorite The White Horse.
Tickets are $60 and can purchased on the event website. The 2013 Birdies and Bogeys Benefit is hosted by: Clayton Boardman IV, George Claussen IV, Montie Claussen, Chrissy Cunningham, Katelyn Gibbs, Virginia McKnight, Natalie Paine, Mary Hull Palmer, Mary Vincent Pursley and Charlie Wall Jr. To learn more about the charities and the event, please visit www.birdiesandbogeysbenefit.org.
