Summer Adventures Day Camp

Whoooo loves camp? Join us at the Weeks Center for the Best. Week. Ever. Kids will make memories that last a lifetime with sports, arts and crafts, swimming, performing arts, themed weeks, field trips, and special guests. Registration begins Friday, April 1. Half of total fees are due upon registration and the remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the session start date.
Ages: 5 – 12 Monday – Friday, June 6 – August 12, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (No camp on Monday, July 4)
Drop Off : 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.; Pick Up: 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $70 per session; Non-resident fees apply Weeks Activities Center

2016 Youth Archery Camps

Calling all straight shooters! Learn archery safety, technique, equipment, mental concentration, and self-improvement. Participants will shoot at a bullseye target placed before an arrow resistant net. Equipment used is state-of-the-art and designed to fi t every participant. Instructors are NFAA certified and with a combined 60 years of experience. Ages: 5 - 17 $60/session for residents, $80/session for non-residents

Take the Stage Augusta University Theatre Camp

Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, Augusta University 2500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904
Augusta University’s Communications Department will host its first annual theatre camp for middle and high school students June 13-17th. Students will obtain skills through acting workshops, theatre games, stage combat, costuming, stage and audition technique, and more!

The camp will provide exclusive theatre training from professionals Rick Davis, Melanie O’Meara, and Douglas Joiner.

Summer Camps

Fleming Tennis Center, 1850 Chester Avenue, Augusta, GA.
MACH Academy has a Summer Camp session just for YOU! There will be two (2) all-day camps operating Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, May 30 - July 29, 2016. Early drop-off is 8:30 AM and late pick-up is 5:30 PM. Lunch and all supplies provided.

The “Reach for the Stars” Camp will provide Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) sessions, creative writing, career exploration, college planning, nutrition and healthy eating, and tennis/fitness instruction. Sessions will include games and drills designed to introduce tennis as a fun game for a lifetime. The USTA Quick Start Tennis format, First Serve Curriculum, Academic Creative Engagement (ACE) Curriculum and other USTA training curriculums will be used to help participants, ages 4 - 18, connect education to tennis.

The “Summer Tennis/Fitness Camp” provides comprehensive tennis fundamentals including drills, competitive matches, strength training & conditioning. A variety of effective USTA training methods will be used to help participants, ages 6 - 18, achieve high performance development and winning results.

The cost for each camp is $100 per person per week. Camps will be held at the Fleming Tennis Center, 1850 Chester Avenue, Augusta, GA. Limited partial scholarships are available for weekly camp sessions.

MACH Academy, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit community organization housed at the Fleming Tennis Center, 1850 Chester Avenue in South Augusta. Year round programs and services include academic/tutoring support, computer literacy, nutrition/healthy eating, and fitness/tennis instruction. Programs and services are provided for youth ages 3 - 18, and offer children a safe and supportive environment.
