BEAT FEET for ALS
ALS is a devasting neuromuscular disease that effects all races, ages and sexes. The Augusta ALS Fund is dedicated to helping patients with ALS. Eighty percent of the proceeds collected by this fund will be donated to the Georgia Regent's Medical Center ALS Clinic to help operate the ALS clinics in Augusta and Macon Georgia. At the GRU Medical Center patients receive state of the art medical care and can participate in clinical research studies. The remaining 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the ALS Association of Georgia and South Carolina and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. These organizations help patients with ALS and fund research to try to find a cure for this disease.
