Each year the Augusta Partnership for Children, Inc. and it's partners join together to coordinate a week of activities for children, youth and their families known as Children’s Week. This event has been celebrated 25+ years in Augusta, Georgia and kicks off during the first full week of October. Planned activities include a Kick-Off Celebration (featuring Magician "Magic Marc" Dunston), Teen Maze, Family/Westobou Festival, and Children’s Story Time.
Children’s Week yields approximately 10,000 patrons and each year is expected to be bigger and better. This annual event features a variety of activities for children of all ages and their families. Each activity is unique in that it offers fun and enriching activities for children while providing opportunities for parents and agency/nonprofit personnel to learn about the various resources in our community (specifically for children and families). Children’s Week is also a time for our young people to showcase their talents, skills, and abilities to the general public.
All activities are free and open to the public.
