Commuter Trains in Augusta
A train system once existed here in Augusta and many citizens would welcome its return.

i agree 100% there are a few tracks out here in the sticks where i am and yea a commuter train or anything like a straight up old type train route would be AWESOME! and im sure profitable , especially if its affordable! plus only 2 tracks i see being used around the parts i travel. if not going to use the tracks that are already there to be updated and used, then pull em out and lets stop purposely ruining our tires and suspension!
This would be great! As a matter of fact there use to be a trolly from downtown Aiken at park ave.& union street to laurens st. to trolly line rd. to graniteville through the valley to belvedere/clearwater rd. on to northaugusta then augusta with regular daily service in both directions. It came to an end in the early thirteys because of the depression.
I lived in Germany as a teen and the trains (and trolleys and buses) got you wherever you wanted to go. Would love to see passenger trains in Augusta.
CAN YOU PLEASE DO SOMETHING FOR THE VIEWERS, CORRECT THE SOUND ON THE COMMERICALS, THEY BLOW YOU OUT OF THE ROOM WHEN THEY COME ON. IT IS HORRIBLE.
A commuter train would be nice and also a commuter train to Atla. and to Col. and Sav. would be nice.
I would like to know why WRDW hasn't followed up on the story about the 11 kids found in Burke county. I would like to know why sheriff Coursey charged the father and not the mother. It seams to me that she should be in jail too, and the kids in foster care.
