Get real-life, hands-on experience in the ever-changing world of News Media with this college internship opportunity. Working directly with the News 12 Web Producer, you will gain practical knowledge of the systems and software that major media outlets use to get information to their users FAST.

Learn how to create and maintain content for websites, e-mail, RSS readers, cell phones and desktop applications. Edit news stories and add supplementary information, create and manage video clips and design web advertisements. Interact with the news, promotions and sales departments. Learn about every aspect of news production and how to translate traditional reporting methods into the "See It Now" paradigm of the Information Age. And, experience how community participation is changing the face of news.

This is a non-paid internship position and applicants will need to receive college credit to be considered eligible. Hours are flexible. The news never sleeps.
