Shalah Sasse joined WRDW-TV in August 2007 as a reporter/photojournalist. Most recently, Shalah was the main anchor and reporter for NewsLink Indiana at WIPB-TV in Muncie, Indiana.

She graduated with a B.A. in Telecommunications from Ball State University. At Ball State, Shalah was an anchor and reporter for NewsWatch, the campus news station. She was the student chapter president of the Radio Television News Directors Association, and co-hosted Connections Live, an entertainment magazine show which won a 2005 Cleveland Regional Emmy for Best Magazine Format Program.

Shalah interned at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis and WTVW FOX 7 News in Evansville. At WTVW, she was blessed with the opportunity to report on-air for the station.

When she's not reporting the news, she's watching it! Shalah loves water sports, warm weather and is excited about living in the South.

News 12 Internships
News 12 interns must be seeking a degree in communications or broadcast journalism and have the recommendation of their advisor. All internships are non-paid, so students must show proof they'll receive college credit for their work. Applicants must pass a drug screening.
