Ashley Jeffery joined the WRDW-TV news team in June 2008. Ashley most recently worked in the multimedia services department of Gamecock Athletics at the University of South Carolina.

She is a Spring 2008 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in political science. While at USC, Ashley has produced, reported, videotaped, anchored and edited for the daily 30-minute newscast of Carolina News, the campus television show. She also hosted the weekly show "Gamecock Sports Update" for the athletics department.

As an intern at South Carolina Educational Television (SC ETV), Ashley was able to interview a majority of the presidential candidates in the 2008 election for the "Ready to Vote" campaign. She reported live on The Big Picture Show for the Democratic Presidential debate on the campus South Carolina State University; and co-hosted the show Project Discovery in commemoration of the Orangeburg Massacre.

Ashley is a 2004 graduate of Batesburg-Leesville High School and loves cheering on the Gamecocks in ALL sports! She is a native of Ridge Spring, South Carolina and has spent many weekends in downtown Augusta exploring all the great sights the city has to offer.
