Travis joined News 12 in January of 2013 after graduating from the University of Georgia in December of 2012.

While at Georgia, Travis found his love for journalism in the broadcast department of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. While there, he was a reporter, anchor and producer for Newsource 15, the student-run and only local news for the counties of northeast Georgia.

In the summer of 2012, he interned at WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News.

Travis' experience isn't just limited to television. He also worked extensively with the Red & Black, UGA's student newspaper, and hosted a weekly talk radio show on WUOG.

The majority of his time in school, he covered the Georgia Bulldogs with Bulldawg Illustrated where he was online editor. For two years, Travis covered UGA sports taking pictures, shooting videos, conducting interviews and everything in between.
