UPDATE | Drowned Greenbrier football player to be honored at first home game

A Greenbrier High School football player who drowned at Lake Thurmond will be honored Friday. The ceremony will take place just before Greenbrier's first home game of the season Friday at the football field.

GreenJacket ace Jake McCasland threw seven innings of one hit ball and the Augusta offense came to life in picking up a 7-1 win over Greenville Thursday night.

Sean White is Auburn's starting quarterback in the opener against No. 2 Clemson.

Purdue men’s golf head coach Rob Bradley has announced that former Augusta standout Mitch Krywulycz will join the Boilermaker staff as an assistant coach.
