On Saturday, February 23, 2013 the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame will enshrine Buck Belue, Skip Caray, J.B. Hawkins, Heather Stepp McCormick, and Reggie Wilkes as the newest members of the Hall of Fame. These outstanding athletes, coaches, and contributors to sport were selected for induction by the GSHF Honors Court at their meeting in September.

Gamecock baseball ranked 5th in preseason coaches poll

USC baseball

South Carolina is No. 5 in the USA Today baseball coaches poll as announced on Thursday. The Gamecocks begin the 2013 season on Friday, Feb. 15 hosting a three-game series vs. Liberty at Carolina Stadium. Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball also ranked South Carolina No. 7 with Perfect Game USA ranking the Gamecocks No. 11 earlier this week.
