Sept. 21, 2013 MACON, Ga. (AP) -- Payton Usher rushed for 154 yards on twelve carries to lead Mercer to a 43-0 nonconference win over Berry Saturday.

Berry (1-2) was stymied by the Mercer defense throughout the game. Mike Gray led the Bear defense with one interception and four tackles. Michael Rainwater had six tackles. The Vikings managed just 24 total yards through three quarters and finished with 68 total yards.
The Vikings tried four different quarterbacks, all to no avail. The Bears sacked the Berry quarterbacks four times, for a total loss of 35 yards.
