OLUMBIA, S.C. (February 9, 2012) – Six South Carolina Gamecocks will take part in the annual NFL Combine, which will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from February 22-28.

Representing the Gamecocks are safety Antonio Allen, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, defensive end Melvin Ingram, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, defensive tackle Travian Robertson, and offensive lineman Rokevious Watkins.

The players will be measured, undergo medical examinations, psychological testing, interviews and on-field workouts.

Of the more than 300 prospects taking part in the pre-draft combine, 63 are from the SEC (including Missouri and Texas A&M).

South Carolina’s annual on-campus Pro Timing Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, beginning at 10 a.m.
