Columbia, S.C. - South Carolina junior pitcher Joel Seddon earned second-team All-SEC honors with junior outfielder Tanner English, junior catcher Grayson Greiner and junior third baseman Joey Pankake named to the SEC All-Defensive team, as the league announced its annual baseball honors on Tuesday.

Seddon leads the SEC with 14 saves with nine of the 14 vs. league opponents. He has been named to the NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List. He is 2-1 with a 0.85 ERA. He has limited opponents to just five runs, four earned, on 28 hits in 42.1 innings with 51 strikeouts to nine walks. Opponents are batting .189 against him. He is 14-for-15 in save opportunities.
