Dec. 20, 2013 CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Notre Dame will play at Clemson in 2015, the first time the Fighting Irish have come to Death Valley in 38 years.
The Atlantic Coast Conference and Notre Dame announced dates of the school's ACC games from 2014-16 Friday.
Notre Dame's last trip to Memorial Stadium was part of its national championship season in 1977. The fifth-ranked Fighting Irish were led by quarterback Joe Montana and defeated the 15th-ranked Tigers 21-17.
There were 36 players, including Montana and Clemson quarterback Steve Fuller, from that contest who went on to play in the NFL.
Clemson came back to win at Notre Dame two years later, 16-10.
There is no date yet when Clemson will play at Notre Dame.
