Earnhardt docked points, crew chief suspended

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Dale Earnhardt Junior has been docked 100
points from his Nextel total and crew chief Tony Eury Junior has been fined 100-thousand dollars and suspended for six
races. NASCAR took the action because inspectors say Earnhard's
rear wing was improperly mounted when it was checked this past
Saturday in Darlington, South Carolina.
Max Siegel, the president of Dale Earnhardt Incorporated, says
the rulings will be appealed.
