Lefty on the lead

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Phil Mickelson eagled the
par-five 16th hole and shot even-par 72 to take a one-shot lead
halfway through the Players Championship. Nathan Green is alone in
second after his round of 69.
Peter Lonard, Carl Petterson, Sean O'Hair and Rod Pampling are
tied for third, two shots behind Mickelson, who was happy only with
his position.
Tiger Woods struggled for the second straight day. He shot
one-over 73. He's at four-over for the tournament and made the cut
by one stroke.
Augusta native Charles Howell III found the water on 17 for a double bogey and 2nd round 74 to finish at 3 over. Augusta's Vaughn Taylor missed the cut with rounds of 73-74.
