IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Scott Verplank wins the Byron Nelson Championship by a single shot over Luke Donald.
Verplank carded a 4-under-par 66 in the final round to get to 12 under for the tournament.
Donald, who led Verplank by one shot entering the final 18 holes, could do no better than a 2-under 68.
Rory Sabbatini and Jerry Kelly fired 64s to finish in a four-way tie for third place with Phil Mickelson, who carded a 65, and Ian Poulter, who had a 66 to get to minus-10.
