ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Thrashers say they have have re-signed goalie Kari Lehtonen, the team's all-time leader among goaltenders in games played, wins and shutouts.
Terms of the deal for the restricted free agent were not disclosed.
General Manager Don Waddell announced the signing on Wednesday. The 25-year-old Lehtonen posted a 19-22-3 record last season with three shutouts, a 3.06 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage in 46 games.
Lehtonen was selected by the Thrashers in the first round, second overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
The 6-4, 205-pound goaltender has recorded a 94-83-17 record with 14 shutouts, a 2.87 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage in 204 career games with the Thrashers.
