The newcomers included standout quarterback Tajh Boyd of Hampton, Va. Boyd committed to the Tigers last month over offers from Ohio State and Oregon.
Clemson recruiting took a hit at mid-season when Tiger Coach Tommy Bowden walked away and Swinney took over on an interim basis. The team finished the season with a 7-6.
