Sunday, December 7, 2008. (AP) -- K.C. Rivers scored a game-high 32 points to help seal Clemson's 80-75 comeback win against Liberty on Sunday.
Rivers , who was also 4-for-8 from beyond the arc, completed a double-double by grabbing 11 rebounds. Trevor Booker scored 18, had eight rebounds and tallied four blocks for the Tigers (9-0). Terrence Oglesby chipped in with 12 points for Clemson, who rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit for the victory.
Seth Curry led the Flames (6-2) with 24 points, Kyle Ohman added 15, Anthony Smith scored 12 and Jesse Sanders chipped in 10. Curry was 6-for-9 on 3-pointers.
The teams had similar nights from the field, as Clemson shot 50.8 percent (32 of 63) and Liberty had a 50 percent (27 of 54) mark.
The Flames had a 71-67 lead with 4:23 to go, but Rivers scored nine of his 32 in the final 2:32 to put Clemson ahead for good.
