RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The Atlantic Coast Conference has named Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer its player of the year and its top offensive player.
In voting results released by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association on Wednesday, Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich was named the league's defensive player of the year.
Dwyer received 30 of 67 votes for the overall honor, and 42 votes for the offensive award. In defensive player voting, Herzlich had 20 votes to 16 for
Florida State's Everette Brown.
