CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Some of Clemson's star seniors expected much more out of this season than they've gotten so far. Tiger runner James Davis said it's been a frustrating time for him and his teammates. The team had talked about winning a championship. However, with a month left, Clemson must win four of
its final five games simply to make a lower-tier bowl game.

Davis and others like quarterback Cullen Harper and receiver Aaron Kelly passed up potential pro careers after their junior seasons to return to for a final championship try. Instead, Clemson has lost three consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference games and its longtime coach, Tommy Bowden, stepped down earlier this month.
