Georgia Southern Beats Chattanooga 52-28

Saturday, October 4, 2008. (AP) -- Georgia Southern scored on touchdowns with its offense, defense and special teams in a 52-28 victory over Chattanooga on Saturday night.

Antonio Henton was 17-for-24 for 177 yards and two touchdowns to Michael McIntosh. Henton also led Georgia Southern (3-3, 1-2 Southern Conference) with 88 yards rushing.

Adam Urbano scored two rushing touchdowns for the Eagles.

Chattanooga's Jare Gault was 17-for-32 for 205 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Hazard, who bobbled the ball before corralling it with his left hand.

Gault also scored on a 5-yard run in the second quarter to pull Chattanooga (1-5, 0-2) within 17-14.
