Tech To Start Freshmen Quarterback

Atlanta, Ga--Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson said true freshment Jaybo Shaw will start at quarterback in place of injured Josh Nesbitt Saturday against Duke.

Nesbitt was hurt early in their game two weeks ago agains Mississippi State, suffering a hamstring injury and the move allows him extra time to get healthy.

Shaw played most of the game against the Bulldogs completing 3 of 7 passing while rushing for another 61 yards, including a touchdown.

Nesbitt could be Shaw's backup if need be agiainst the Blue Devils. Both teams are 3 and 1 in the early going.
