CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson has set a football record and the
season hasn't even started. The school said Thursday it had sold a record 58,134 season tickets. That surpasses the previous high of 57,991 sold last year for Death Valley.
Clemson ticket manager Travis Furbee says the school's season
ticket sales are tops in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tigers open the season Saturday night at the Georgia Dome against Alabama. Their first home game is Sept. 6 against The Citadel.
