ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Georgia starting left tackle Trinton
Sturdivant has suffered a knee injury in the team's first scrimmage
of the preseason.
Sturdivant, who started all 13 games as a freshman last season,
hurt his left knee. Coach Mark Richt said the severity of the
injury will be determined by tests.
Josh Davis, a sophomore, moved up to the first-team offense
following Sturdivant's injury. The Bulldogs had a 75-minute kicking scrimmage Monday morning at Sanford Stadium and returned in the afternoon for a two-hour workout in full pads. Richt said Georgia is "on track" after completing about one-third of its preseason practice schedule.
