DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) -- More NASCAR greats have signed up for
Darlington Raceway's first racing festival next month. Track organizers say NASCAR winners Ned Jarrett and Bobby Allison will attend the track's Historic Racing Festival on Aug. 30-31. Labor Day weekend had hosted the Sprint Cup Series' Southern 500 from 1950 through 2003. The Southern 500 was run for the final time at Darlington in November 2004 and has since been moved to California Speedway.
Jarrett and Allison will sign autographs, greet fans and take
part in a question and answer session during the event. Other big
drivers planning to attend are NASCAR champions David Pearson and
