ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Georgia Tech is headed to Athens to join Georgia in its NCAA regional.
Georgia Tech learned Monday it will play Big East champion Louisville in a first-round game at Foley Field on Friday. Georgia will open against Lipscomb, which will make its first NCAA baseball tournament appearance.
Georgia, the Southeastern Conference regular-season champion, was announced Sunday as one of the 16 regional sites. The 64-team field was announced on Monday.
