JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Clemson finished the Atlantic Coast
Conference tournament on a positive note, beating Georgia Tech 10-4
today. Not the Tigers must wait for Monday to see if they will make
their 22nd NCAA tournament in a row.

Clemson is now 31-27-1. The last time the Tigers had more losses
was in 1985, when they went 36-30-1. Clemson hoped to make a statement in the ACC tournament, but went 1-2 in their round-robin bracket.

The losses were ugly -- 7-1 to Miami and 10-0 to North Carolina
State in a game ended after seven innings because of the ten-run
mercy rule.
