Undated-- North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas and UCLA are the top seeds in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. The Tar Heels are the top seed in the East, and the entire tournament, while Memphis is No. 1
in the South, Kansas in the Midwest and UCLA in the West.
All four won their conference tournaments to seal their top
spots in the tournament, which begins Tuesday with an opening-round
game between Coppin State and Mount St. Mary's. The rest of the
games begin Thursday and Friday.
Georgia is the 14th seed in the West Region and will play Xavier in Washington DC to start the touranment.
Clemson is the five seed in teh Midwest Region and plays Kent State in the first round. That's being played in Tampa, Fl.
