GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- A very emotional Brett Favre has bid farewell to the Green Bay Packers. The three-time NFL Most Valuable Player broke down into tears several times as he thanked current and former coaches as well as the fans. He said, "it's hard to leave."
After composing himself, Favre said he'd given everything he could to the organization and football. He went on to say he knows he could still play but that he just doesn't want to. Favre says he has no regrets about his career and that being in Green Bay was a "perfect fit."
