ATLANTA (AP) -- Georgia Tech had to call off its game against Virginia tonight because of a leaking roof at Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
Yellow Jackets athletic director Dan Radakovich has not yet decided if the teams could reschedule their Atlantic Coast Conference matchup.
With the basketball floor wet in the lane near Georgia Tech's bench, officials postponed the tipoff for 20 minutes. By 7:30 p.m., however, the game was postponed indefinitely because the maintenance crew couldn't guarantee the leaks would stop.
Weather forecasts called for between two and three inches of rain in metropolitan Atlanta.
The Yellow Jackets (11-13, 4-6 ACC) have lost three straight games and four of last five.
Virginia (12-12, 2-9) is coming off a five-point win Sunday at Boston College that stopped a seven-game losing streak.
