RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- K.C. Rivers scored five of his 17 points
during a game-deciding run as Clemson beat North Carolina State
Terrence Oglesby and Trevor Booker each scored 11 points and
Rivers added 10 rebounds for the Tigers who blew a 13-point lead
before closing the game on a 12-2 run.
Courtney Fells gave N.C. State a 62-59 lead with a 3-pointer
from the key with 3:28 left, but that would be the final basket of
the game for the Wolfpack. They didn't score at all after Gavin
Grant's two free throws with 2:35 left made it 64-62.
Oglesby answered 30 seconds later with a 3-pointer over Grant
from the left wing that put Clemson ahead to stay.
Grant had 18 points, Fells scored 17 and J.J. Hickson finished
with 13 points and a season-high 23 rebounds for N.C. State.
