SAN DIEGO (AP) -- San Diego has finalized a two-year, 11-million-dollar contract with Kahlil Greene avoiding an arbitration hearing.
The shortstop will make 4.5 million this season and 6.5 million in 2009.
Greene was the Padres MVP last season, hitting .254 and setting career highs with 24 homers, 44 doubles and 97 RBIs.
