Falcons hire former Georgia Southern assistant

ATLANTA (AP) -- Former Georgia Southern defensive backs coach Joe
Danna was named the Atlanta Falcons defensive quality control coach
today.

Danna coached defensive backs at James Madison in 2007 after one season at Georgia Southern.

Danna also is a former graduate assistant at Georgia.

Danna was an assistant coach at Central Michigan, his alma mater, from 2003-05.
