'Bama makes a hire
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama football coach Nick Saban has hired Jim McElwain as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. McElwain held the same jobs last season at Fresno State after spending the 2006 campaign as quarterbacks coach for the Oakland
Raiders.
