COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- X-rays taken today on Clemson's Trevor Booker showed nothing more than a sprain to his left ankle.
Still, the 6-foot-7 forward/center probably won't practice much this week and is considered questionable for the Tigers' next game Saturday against Boston College.
Booker is Clemson's top rebounder at more than eight a game and its second leading scorer behind K.C. Rivers with a 12-point average.
Coach Oliver Purnell says Booker's injury greatly concerns him, but he hopes Booker's ankle comes around with rehab and he's able to play.
The Tigers had entered the Atlantic Coast Conference season at 12-1 and ranked in the top 15. They've since gone 3-3 in league play, have dropped from the polls.
Clemson lost to Miami 75-to-72 yesterday.
