GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) Clemson's Trevor Booker and Virginia Tech's Jeff Allen are the Atlantic Coast Conference's weekly award winners.
Booker claimed his first player of the week award after averaging 30 points, eight rebounds and three blocked shots in losing to Charlotte and beating Florida State. He had a career-high 32 points in the loss to the 49ers, and combined to make 20 of 26 shots last week.
Allen won the rookie award for the second time, averaging 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals in victories against Maryland and Charleston Southern. Against the Terrapins, he hit the game-winning free throw with 12.4 seconds left.
