Warrenton, Ga--A lot of times to single out a player of the week is not easy. To pick someone from a 12-3 ballgame, you know he had to do something pretty special. That's exactly what Warren County's Jabari Wilson did this past Friday night.

Wilson did it all over the field for the Screaming Devils. On offense, 140 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries and on defense, he may have made the play of the year for the team. With top 10 George Walton threatening to take the lead late, a big hit led to a fumble and Wilson did the rest. 99 yards later he was in the end zone to seal the win. A worthy performance indeed.

"The running back was cutting through my way and me and my outside linebacker hit him and I saw the ball pop out and I looked up at the referee and I just picked it up and just gone," said Wilson.

"I was just giggling inside," said Coach David Daniels. "Because I said they're not going to catch him, and I said he's going to score and we're going to win and that's just a nice feeling. It's just a great feeling to have something like that happen. We were just very fortunate to have something like that happen because George Walton is a great team."

Consider this, Warren County is the smallest Class A school in Georgia and is off to a 3-0 start. For his efforts, we honor the Devils Jabari Wilson as our Operation Football Live player of the week.
