Thomson, Ga--Year after year one of the top football programs around the state of Georgia resides in Thomson. Just about every year they're a playoff team and just about every year a threat to go deep.

Milan Turner is now in his second year at the helm and does have some holes to fill. Eight starters on offense, seven on defense have graduated leaving some holes. Don't worry, this is Thomson and they have the guys to step in. They also have torrie battle, a game changer. Coach turner is high on him and the kids surrounding the senior

"We always expect big things from Torrie, he's a playmaker but I feel like he's got a great surrounding cast, I really do" said Milan Turner "I think we have a number of guys on both sides of the ball that can make big plays for us. So I hope those guys can continue to develop."

The Bulldogs will be tested out of the gates and take on defending champs Burke County to start the season. It's one of those games thomson will use as a measuring stick

"Oh yea, I think the Burke County game is going to be the game that sees if we're going to do something this season" said Cameron garnett

"I don't know if I would have wanted this tough of a schedule that we ended up with but I know that it's going to be great football every week and if you enjoy competition and the game, then that's what you want" added coach Turner

Never sell Thomson short thought, this team wins and wins a lot and fully expect to do more this year.
