Harlem, Ga--Zero is not a good number if you're a football team. For Harlem, unfortunately, that was their number of wins and number of points scored in six games. This year they expect and demand to change that in a hurry.
One thing's for sure, they have a lot more experience. A bunch of underclassmen started last year and now know what it's like to play under the lights. Will price will lead the offense and he has pretty much all the running backs back. Getting a win in the first few weeks would do wonders for this bulldog team.
"It will be to show that we can win and we will win this year" said Devin Frails "Wins are important and we're going to have wins this year."
"We need to win two or three games right off the bat" said Jimmie Lewis "I think if that happens I think it'll kind of like be a B12 shot to a sick person, I'm telling you. I believe if we get a win or two early it's just going to escalate and we're going to play a lot better the rest of the year."
The offensive line is young and that's a concern for coach Jimmie Lewis. But the drop down in class should make harlem a lot more competitive as the season plays out.
