Evans, Ga--Greenbrier football coach Brian Smith is stepping down as head coach of the program following Friday's season finale against Wayne County.
Smith told News 12 he wants to spend more time with his family and being a football coach has become a year round job.
This was his fourth year with Greenbrier and was 12 and 27. This year was the best of the four as the Pack is 4 and 5 heading into Friday night's game.
