Greenbrier looks to new coach for a change in attitude

Wednesday August 15, 2012

Evans, Ga--It's been a while since we can say Greenbrier has had a winning record. Matter of fact it was 2003 when they amassed seven wins. This year, a new head coach, a new work ethic and a new state of mind.

Kevin Hunt is now the man in charge of the Wolfpack and he's brought to the team a blue collar attitude. Ask the players and they'll tell ya, they have never worked this hard on and off the field. While you won't win a game in the weight room, it can certainly go a long ways in getting you prepared. So far, so good in that department.

"It's a culture change. You have to know you can go out there and compete every Friday night and compete every snap and you have to compete every day in practice" said coach Kevin Hunt

"Just a lot of hard work. We've been putting that in and coach Hunt is making sure we're putting that in and I think we're looking like a decent team" added Jeremy Harden

"Working hard, harder then we were, putting in the time, longer practices and just more team unity." added Kris Cannon

Jeremy Harden will be one of three backs who'll have to lead an offense that doesn't have a ton of experience while the defense has plenty of it. Still some questions to be answered for the Pack and most of them will have to wait and be answered when they turn on the lights and they count the games for real.
