Twin City, Ga--A new coach but the same winning attitude is how they're approaching things at ECI this year. Why change things when they have some great playmakers returning?
New coach Chris Kearson may be new in the sense this is his first head coaching job, but he's been with the Bulldogs for nearly a decade. It all starts in the backfield with Weasley Ealy and Darion Moody who'll take the pressure off a young offensive line. Their inexperience won't last forever and they'll only get better as the year goes on.
"We knew up front, we were going to be replacing the entire offensive line and the interior three on defense." said new coach Chris Kearson "We knew we were going to have to rely on our skill kids because that's our backbone right now. But I'll tell you something now, I've got two of the best offensive line coaches in the state of Georgia and I have all the confident in the world they'll get the right folks up front and get them blocking a thousand miles an hour."
"They just come in, jump in and block. As long as they block right, give us some good blocks, give us what we need, give our quarterback time to throw the ball, we should be good." said Buck Moody
As long as the line holds up early and Ealy and Moody stay healthy, this will be a dangerous team as the season rolls on and should be hitting their stride when the post season
