Augusta, Ga--The Josey football program has been a work in progress the last few years. This season, the progress may pay off in a few more wins, at least that's the mindset and the attitude around the Eagles
While they lost a number of playmakers, they do bring back Juwon Tolbert, who coach John Noah calls a special athlete. He'll be taking snaps on a team that's seen a bump in numbers. With the new class they're in, the pieces could fall in to place just right for Josey.
"I mean it's going to be a big deal for us" said coach John Noah "In 2-A ball everybody's going to have 40-50 kids and everybody is going to have kids going both ways and that's going to help us out a whole lot."
"We're coming together around here and it's a change, like all the bad habits are going away, like everybody is coming to be positive" added junior Juwan Tolbert
Eagles have a little beef up front which could open up some holes for this squad to score some points. This will also be coach Noah's last year at the helm. He'll be turning over the reigns to Ralielgh Roundtree after the season.
