Bears attitude has been key in success

Thursday December 8, 2011

Waynesboro, Ga--All roads out of Waynesboro Saturday lead to the Georgia Dome and Atlanta. Heck, the school sold out of their 4000 tickets they had for pre sale so a big crowd will be wearing the blue and white. So too will a crowd in support of peach county.

This year's Bears have been nothing short of record breaking. If they could muster 45 more points in the title game, they will set the state record for points in a season. Led by the two headed quarterback system of Corey Mayton and Donquell Green, scoring has not been an issue. Ever since day one this team has had one goal and only one goal. Now they're 48 minutes away from reaching that goal.

"Basically it tells everybody that we're ready for anybody, anytime, anywhere." said Davonte Lambert "Like Burke County, is the real deal this year and we aren't playing no games."

We know the 48 minutes that we're going to have to tangle with Peach County this Saturday will be the toughest 48 minutes of the season." said Eric Parker "I think you have to go in with attitude and you have to go in with a conviction of preparation."

Don't sell the Trojans short, they've won three of the last six state crowns and their defense, stout giving up an average of nine points a game. It's a 4:30 kick off from the dome and of course you can get tickets there if you're interested in going.
