Louisville, Ga--It was just a few years ago when Jefferson County was a playoff team that could never get beyond the first round. But the last few years, these team has been a legitimate title contender.
"Right now we're L.A.B. and I like to call that life after Barry (Bostic)" said coach JB Arnold "He was a great player for us but as any good coach knows, we know those players come and go. We just have to try to get better for the next year. You don't replace a kid like Bostic, what you try to do is find a kid who has some talent."
It is the challenge facing Jefferson County and their head coach j.B. Arnold, replace Mr. Everything and now Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Barry Bostic. Not easy, but life does go on at the home of the warriors. Matter of fact, life should be pretty good over the next three months as the next group of kids step forward.
"Coach Arnold does a great job preparing us for the upcoming games and the things we're going to have to do this season" said Chester Stone "We're well prepared for those situations and all we have to do is execute and with the talent that we have we should be able to do that."
"Again, you have to have players that play and you have to have talent that helps you win. Hopefully its getting to be a tradition here and that's what we want."
Chester stone will take the reins at quarterback and while Arnold admits he might not have as much talent as they've had in the past, the work ethic may be better then ever.
