Augusta, Ga--They are just a third year program, but Westminster has made strides by leaps and bounds. Not easy when you literally start from the bottom two years ago. This year, look for the Wildcats to make the next step.
It helps that you only lose two seniors off your roster. This squad is loaded with friday night experience guys. Quarterback Tim Nabholz returns and look for him to step his game up. The football maturity level is there and could make all the difference between winning and losing.
"I think just the little things, doing the little things well and continuing to gain experience" said coach Andrew Bryan "We are a young team but year three, to be over 500, man if we can get there, we shoot for even more then that."
"Learning how to pull out wins." said Tim Naboholz "There were a couple of close losses we had last year and I feel like if we were in those games this year we'd be able to pull them out."
Coach Andrew Bryan said he's pleasantly pleased with the freshmen who are now dressing out and a couple of others who've enrolled at the school as they continue to build the program.
