Thomson, Ga--When the football playoffs resume Friday night, we could see the end of an era. If Thomson falls to Peach County, it'll be the last game Luther Welsh will have coached for the Bulldogs.
No question their task is a huge one. Peach County is undefeated and averaging 45 points a ballgame. While the Thomson "d" has been solid all year, welsh knows the "o" is going to have do some damage as well.
"The biggest challenge we have is to try to keep their big defensive linemen out where we can do a little running or a little throwing." said Luther Welsh "They've got big tackles and I thought their linebacker can run real well and they're just a good football team."
So too is Thomson. That game is at Peach County which is Fort Valley, Georgia.
